Mittens!

Not just any mittens either. Handspun yarn mittens! This is a pattern I found on Ravelry. They are called the Tip Down Mittens and it is a great pattern to showcase your handspun yarn with. I used less than 4 oz of yarn. Which is about what I spin typically at a time. I think though the next time I make these I will make them a little wider along with the thumb a little wider. I thought I would run out of yarn and I didn't. They are great don't get me wrong, but next time I am going a little bigger and I want to line them.

  1. They turned out great! ...or you could spin extra in a thinner weight and knit a second mitten on the cuff and then fold it inside. Looking forward to seeing the next pair!
